IBP-Group signs distribution agreement with PinProtect

IBP-Group has signed a distribution agreement to offer PinProtect products to financial institutions and retail multiples in the UK and other key markets within Europe.

PinProtect protects a customer’s pin number from prying eyes and illicit covert cameras.

Covering the keypad on ATMs and hand-held payment terminals, PinProtect’s design limits the view of the keypad and thereby protects the customer’s pin number from prying eyes and illicit covert cameras. The innovative idea came to one of the founding partners and comes from the belief that every user of chip and pin technology needs to be confident that they are protected.

PinProtect has the worldwide patent for a security feature designed to prevent shoulder surfing and protect chip and pin users and the retailers that adopt the product from fraud.
