IBP announce distribution of a GSM-based PA alarm for vulnerable personnel
24 February 2005

IBP International, leading suppliers of Robbery Control Systems, announce a distribution deal with Connexion2, makers of Identicom, the GSM-based PA alarm for vulnerable workers and security personnel.

Identicom is a vital health and safety tool for organisations who have a duty towards those members of staff whose work may potentially put them in danger.

The system, which allows central stations to listen in on incidents as they happen, is a flexible alternative to hard-wired systems for premises-based personnel, complying with ACPO guidelines on verification. It also gives central stations a protective ‘presence’ for the mobile workforce and other vulnerable personnel away from their place of work.

Neil Chrismas, IBP’s Sales and Marketing Director said: “Covert and easy to operate, without attracting attention, Identicom is a vital health and safety tool for organisations, who have a duty towards those members of staff whose work may potentially put them in danger.”

Craig Swallow, Connexion2’s CEO, told IBP News: “We are very pleased to be working in partnership with IBP given their strength and presence in key markets where Identicom will be attractive.”

For more information on Identicom, contact Neil Chrismas at IBP International, or call +44 (0)1428 641399.
