Explosive liaison for IBP

Bruno Paillusson, a man with an explosive past, has joined IBP International as its technical manager.

Bruno Paillusson, a former blasting engineer with ICI Explosives and later ORICA UK Ltd, will be responsible for all technical matters with the Surrey-based security company.

The qualified electrician spent five years in the French navy, including two in the submarine division based in his home region of Brittany.

He later joined ICI Security Systems, working on anti-robbery systems for banks and financial institutions.

Bruno, who will head up IBP’s installation and service teams, said: “I am greatly looking forward to the challenge that this role with IBP offers.

“My background means I have a lot of experience working with anti-robbery systems and has also made me very aware of safety issues in this type of work.”
