IBP International’s yachting victory marks 10 Years of service IBP International were delighted to win this year’s Flying Squad IBP Challenge Trophy. After a duel lasting 6 hours, battle-flags flying and licking along in a brisk force 4, the two IBP boats the took first and second place across the finishing line by Stokes Bay in the Solent.
The presentation by Alan Townsend, MPS Flying Squad and I.C. Ballast in Boat Number 2, took place in the sunshine on the pontoon at Portsmouth Harbour Yacht Club. John Morgan, director of runners-up ADT High Security Group said, “IBP laid down the gauntlet this year with some competitive tactics. Next year’s race will be a very different story.”
The event followed IBP International’s anniversary, celebrating 10 years of supplying financial institutions and retail chains with robbery control systems. At the event, the company launched its new ‘plug and play’ ECA Smokenote™ IS (Intelligent System) designed as: 1. A mobile dye-pack forensic marking system to suit changing risk conditions and independent retailers. 2. An automatic trigger for camera and personal attack systems 3.
