| Safetrace™ with smoke dye uses Smoketrace™ dye which has been designed to assist police in securing convictions in the event of a robbery. |
It is available with either smoke dye, containing the unique forensically traceable Smoketrace™, or liquid dye. The smoke version can also be used with existing installations of either bundle packs or Smokenote™ when they are kept in the safe overnight.
The system can detect attack using a single signal from the seismic detector or in conjunction with an additional trigger to provide “double knock” safety threshold. This second signal can come from a PIR detector, perimeter detector or the main alarm panel. The system will also activate in the event that the cable is cut to the seismic detector or via the alarm panel.
Safetrace™ with Smoketrace™ smoke dye
Upon activation of the smoke dye system, the dye pack will emit a thick violet smoke that will dye notes that it comes into contact with. In addition smoke will seep from around the door alerting the attackers that the notes have been stained.
Safetrace™ with liquid dye
Cash is stored within a lockable till insert that has been fitted with a liquid dye dispenser. In the event of activation the notes will be coated with a purple dye rendering the cash unusable.
